''Houstonia serpyllifolia'', (common names creeping bluet, mountain bluet, thymeleaf bluet, Appalachian bluet)〔(Wildflowers of the United States )〕 is a plant species in the Rubiaceae. It is native to the eastern United States, primarily the Appalachian Mountains. The name "serpyllifolia" alludes to the resemblance between this plant and the culinary herb wild thyme, ''Thymus serpyllum''.〔(Michaux, André. 1803.
